Below are answers to frequently asked questions that we receive for this product:
1.) Are custom sizes available?
Yes! Our literature only lists sizes and loadings for the most popular sizes. We can also fabricate Redco™ Outrigger Pads in any size from 12″ x 12″ to 48″ x 60″.
2.) Is an anti-slip option available?
Yes! We offer two anti-slip options for your Redco™ Outrigger Pad. The first is our ‘scuffed’ version that involves the usage of sanding equipment to roughen the smooth surface; this service is offered in our shops at each branch. The second is our premium-grade anti-slip pad that uses an embedded clean coal slag surface. This version requires a minimum order and longer lead times, so please inquire for more information.
3.) Can I customize the pads to have extra handles or corners left on?
Yes! Extra handles (beyond two) will add a nominal cost of $5.00/pad. Corners are regularly removed as standard for square pads, but you can choose to keep them for no added cost.
4.) Is there a price difference between square and round pads?
Yes, round pads are substantially more difficult to manufacture and require much more labor.
5.) Do you carry stock?
No, all our pads are made-to-order due to the wide range of profiles and thickness for the outrigger pads that are requested from us.
6.) What is your lead time to ship an order?
Our lead times depend on our branch’s base plastic stock levels and the branch’s overall lead time to ship an order. Typically, this takes about 3 weeks.
7.) Are your outrigger pads guaranteed?
Yes, we offer a limited warranty for broken outrigger pads. A copy of the warranty can be emailed to you upon request.
8.) Can you quote with a shipping cost?
Yes! In order for the freight companies to provide an accurate quotation, we require your full address (if in Canada) or zip code (if in the U.S.). You will also need to provide a firm quantity of pads to be quoted as the shipping cost is based on weight.
9.) Can I get our name or logo engraved on the pad?
Not for a nominal fee. Most of our branches do not have the capability to provide engraved outrigger pads. This engraving can be done by our Canadian and U.S.-based central machine shops, but the costs of transportation, engraving, and delivery makes the process unnecessarily expensive for customers who are not insistent of this requirement.
