Redco™ Industrial Laminate Composites exhibit mechanical properties far beyond that of many conventional industrial plastics. Redco™ Laminates are much lighter than steel, cost effective, easily machined, have good dimensional stability, excellent properties and do not contain harmful or toxic materials.

Redco™ Phenolic

Phenolic resin, when combined with cotton fabric, offers excellent strength and rigidity, good insulative qualities, and optimum machinability. These qualities make our standard “NEMA CE” grade ideally suited for high load and high impact applications.For applications that require a lower coefficient of friction than our standard CE grade can provide, consider our graphite filled, GRADE 400 material.

With the addition of a solid lubricant, the amount of lubrication required and/or the regular maintenance schedule may be reduced. While the addition of a solid lubricant reduces the insulative properties of the Grade 400 material, it retains all the mechanical strength of NEMA CE plus has the added advantage of a lower coefficient of friction.

  • High degree of resistance to deforming under load
  • Can withstand up to 149°C / 300°F continuously
  • One of the hardest plastics available
  • Cross-linked phenolics are very resistant to compressive loads

Redco™ Epoxy Laminates

  • Offer virtually no water absorption
  • Good insulating and electrical properties
  • Excellent dimensional stability
  • Good temperature and chemical resistance

Redco™ Melamine Laminates

  • Easily produced in an unlimited range of colors
  • Good electrical properties under humid conditions
  • Excellent arc-tracking resistance
  • Excellent compressive strength
  • Good physical properties
  • Very good solvent resistance
  • Can withstand temperatures of 285°F
  • Good chemical and weather resistance
  • Strong mechanical properties

Redco™ Silicon Laminates

  • Retain properties over a wide temperature range
  • Remain flexible down to negative 16°C / 60°F
  • High degree of biocompatibility

Redco™ Polyester Laminates

  • Low cost
  • Good arc and track resistance
