One project we worked on recently involved acrylic “windows” for fire extinguisher mounts in Saskatchewan. We were approached by a contractor who did not know where else to procure them, as the application is somewhat difficult to fabricate.
Thin (2mm) acrylic sheet needs to be scored with an “X” to make it breakable in case of an emergency, yet the scoring cannot pierce the window. Our solution involved a simple CNC program to score the “X” and the result was cost-effective and very satisfactory to the client.
Are you a Canadian contractor who wonders where to find these scored windows at a reasonable price?
Contact us with the dimensions you require for your windows, a quantity, and confirm the thickness of material – and a Redwood representative will provide you with a quick response.
