Redco™ High pressure laminates exhibit mechanical properties far beyond that of many conventional industrial plastics. For economy, plus wide variety versatilities in both fabrication and application, phenolic resins are often the most attractive. Phenolic resin, when combined with cotton fabric, offers excellent strength and rigidity, good insulative qualities, and optimum machinability. These qualities make our standard "NEMA CE" grade ideally suited for high load, high impact applications. For applications that require a lower coefficient of friction than the standard CE grade can provide, consider our graphite filled, GRADE 400 material. With the addition of a solid lubricant, the amount of lubrication required and/or the regular maintenance schedule may be reduced. While the addition of a solid lubricant reduced the insulative properties of Grade 400, it retains all the mechanical strength of NEMA CE plus the added advantage of a lower coefficient of friction.
